   Two of us tried the same thing and got different results, hence the thread. Everything I read suggests it should just work, and for me it very much does not. Would rather learn the right way now than build a bad habit.

   Depends on your setup, but broadly the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain. Let us know which part worked.

   Spider 15 team check before I commit gear (high refresh rate)

   This is the bit people miss — this changed for me after the last patch, so older threads may steer you wrong. That fixed it for me, at least.
