[Brawl Stars] Cooling accessories — gimmick or genuinely effective?

Bit of a niche question, but this seems like the right crowd for it. It works fine most of the time, but the edge cases are where I keep getting stuck.

My results were consistent across three attempts, so I do not think it was luck. Marking this solved once something actually works.

Slightly different take — that behaviour is intentional, even though it is poorly explained in-game.

Counterpoint: it is almost always a setting rather than hardware, so try the free fixes before spending anything.

Agreed on most of this, except the community guide covers this better than I can, but the summary is to prioritise the basics first.

That fixed it for me, at least.

Counterpoint: if it only happens in one mode, that narrows it down considerably.

Worth a shot before anything drastic.

Had the exact same issue. verify the files before anything else; it catches more problems than people expect.

That fixed it for me, at least.

Slightly different take — ignore the loudest advice; the boring answer is usually the correct one here.

I went through this last month. the safe move is the reversible one — you can always undo it if it makes things worse.

Worth checking first: verify the files before anything else; it catches more problems than people expect.

Worth a shot before anything drastic.

Quick correction to the above: the wiki number is theoretical; real results are always a bit lower.

Worth a shot before anything drastic.

The usual fix here is do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

Adding to the above: region and server load matter more than most guides acknowledge.
