Apex Legends — Fan curves that keep things quiet under load

Long-time lurker, first proper post. Rolling back to the previous version made the problem disappear entirely.

The patch notes hinted at this but never actually spelled it out. Let me know if more detail would help.

Agreed on most of this, except do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

This comes up a lot, so: you get most of the benefit from the first adjustment; everything after that is marginal.

For what it is worth, temperature is the usual culprit when performance degrades over a session.
