Dragon 25 rotation help

Reposting with more detail after my last thread got no traction. I got it working once and then could not repeat it, which is the frustrating part.

Marking this solved once something actually works.

For what it is worth, do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

Had the exact same issue. it is almost always a setting rather than hardware, so try the free fixes before spending anything.

Agreed on most of this, except worth testing on a second account to rule out something profile-specific.

Not the answer you want, but verify the files before anything else; it catches more problems than people expect.

That fixed it for me, at least.

In my testing, measure before and after, otherwise you are just guessing whether it helped.

For what it is worth, give it a clean reinstall before assuming the hardware is at fault.

I went through this last month. do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

Only partly related, but the wiki number is theoretical; real results are always a bit lower.

Agreed on most of this, except the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain.

Depends on your setup, but broadly measure before and after, otherwise you are just guessing whether it helped.
