Which starter champion did you keep?

Spent most of the weekend on this and I am still not sure I understand it. What confuses me is that it behaves differently depending on the order I do things in.

It only shows up after about twenty minutes, which made it a nightmare to reproduce. Curious whether that matches what everyone else is seeing.
