   Which games actually respect a five-minute session?

   Hoping someone can sanity-check my reasoning before I commit to it. The difference only becomes obvious once you look at the frame times rather than the average. Turning one setting down fixed it, which raises more questions than it answers. Hopefully this saves someone else the afternoon it cost me.

    Shader compilation on first launch — how long did yours take? (low-end setup)

    Worth checking first: if it only happens in one mode, that narrows it down considerably. Good luck, it is a common snag.
