RAID: Shadow Legends
Arena defence keeps losing to the same setup
Quick one for the people who have put more hours into this than me. I assumed it was a known issue, but I cannot find anyone else describing it.

I assumed it was a known issue, but I cannot find anyone else describing it. Marking this solved once something actually works.

Not the answer you want, but the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain.

Depends on your setup, but broadly the trick is to change one thing at a time and actually note the result before touching anything else.

Worth checking first: you get most of the benefit from the first adjustment; everything after that is marginal.

For what it is worth, the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.

Depends on your setup, but broadly the difference is real but small enough that you may not notice it while playing.

Agreed on most of this, except do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

From experience, worth testing on a second account to rule out something profile-specific.
Worth a shot before anything drastic.

Adding to the above: if it only happens in one mode, that narrows it down considerably.

For what it is worth, nine times out of ten it is a driver or a background process, not the thing you suspect.

I went through this last month. ignore the loudest advice; the boring answer is usually the correct one here.

Had the exact same issue. the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain.

Counterpoint: if it only happens in one mode, that narrows it down considerably.

For what it is worth, the community guide covers this better than I can, but the summary is to prioritise the basics first.
