Audio cuts out after alt-tabbing

I want to get ahead of this before it becomes a habit. My results were consistent across three attempts, so I do not think it was luck.

I want to get ahead of this before it becomes a habit. My results were consistent across three attempts, so I do not think it was luck.

I tested it across a couple of sessions and the difference was smaller than the forums made it sound. I can post logs or screenshots if that would make this easier to diagnose.

Only partly related, but that behaviour is intentional, even though it is poorly explained in-game.

Counterpoint: worth testing on a second account to rule out something profile-specific.

Others may have a cleaner method.

Agreed on most of this, except the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.

Had the exact same issue. it is almost always a setting rather than hardware, so try the free fixes before spending anything.

This is the bit people miss — region and server load matter more than most guides acknowledge.

I went through this last month. the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.

Report back once you have tried it.

Worth checking first: it is almost always a setting rather than hardware, so try the free fixes before spending anything.

Depends on your setup, but broadly the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.
