Bundle maths — when is it actually cheaper?

Two of us tried the same thing and got different results, hence the thread. The thing that keeps tripping me up is that everyone assumes you already know the basics, and the wiki is out of date.

Two of us tried the same thing and got different results, hence the thread. The thing that keeps tripping me up is that everyone assumes you already know the basics, and the wiki is out of date.

It only shows up after about twenty minutes, which made it a nightmare to reproduce. Happy to be told I am overthinking it.

From experience, verify the files before anything else; it catches more problems than people expect.

Others may have a cleaner method.

Short version: the community guide covers this better than I can, but the summary is to prioritise the basics first.

Let us know which part worked.

This is the bit people miss — this changed for me after the last patch, so older threads may steer you wrong.

Quick correction to the above: worth testing on a second account to rule out something profile-specific.

I went through this last month. region and server load matter more than most guides acknowledge.

In my testing, the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.

This is the bit people miss — the trick is to change one thing at a time and actually note the result before touching anything else.

Had the exact same issue. give it a clean reinstall before assuming the hardware is at fault.

This comes up a lot, so: check whether an overlay is running before blaming the game itself.

Let us know which part worked.

That fixed it for me, at least.

Only partly related, but give it a clean reinstall before assuming the hardware is at fault.

From experience, the difference is real but small enough that you may not notice it while playing.

Others may have a cleaner method.

Same boat here. keep a note of what you changed, otherwise you cannot undo it cleanly later.

Report back once you have tried it.

The usual fix here is the wiki number is theoretical; real results are always a bit lower.

Not the answer you want, but give it a clean reinstall before assuming the hardware is at fault.
