Warframe — How many games do you have going at once?

Writing this up while it is fresh, because I will forget the details otherwise. What confuses me is that it behaves differently depending on the order I do things in.

Writing this up while it is fresh, because I will forget the details otherwise. What confuses me is that it behaves differently depending on the order I do things in.

What actually changed my results was slowing down and reading the tooltips properly instead of rushing. Curious whether that matches what everyone else is seeing.

For what it is worth, do the cheap diagnostic first — it costs nothing and rules out half the causes.

Others may have a cleaner method.

Quick correction to the above: check whether an overlay is running before blaming the game itself.

Adding to the above: do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

Others may have a cleaner method.

This is the bit people miss — verify the files before anything else; it catches more problems than people expect.

From experience, it is almost always a setting rather than hardware, so try the free fixes before spending anything.

Slightly different take — ignore the loudest advice; the boring answer is usually the correct one here.

Depends on your setup, but broadly verify the files before anything else; it catches more problems than people expect.

For what it is worth, that behaviour is intentional, even though it is poorly explained in-game.

Quick correction to the above: the wiki number is theoretical; real results are always a bit lower.

Worth a shot before anything drastic.

Short version: do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

This is the bit people miss — it depends heavily on your specific setup, so take any single number with a grain of salt.

The usual fix here is region and server load matter more than most guides acknowledge.

Slightly different take — the safe move is the reversible one — you can always undo it if it makes things worse.

Only partly related, but the difference is real but small enough that you may not notice it while playing.

Had the exact same issue. the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain.

Good luck, it is a common snag.

That fixed it for me, at least.
