   VALORANT — Starter pack value check before I claim

   Finally worked this out, so here is the write-up I wish I had found. What confuses me is that it behaves differently depending on the order I do things in. The numbers look fine on paper, but it feels noticeably worse in practice. I can post logs or screenshots if that would make this easier to diagnose.

   The usual fix here is the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain.
