iOS vs Android for the same game — any difference?

Low stakes question, but it has been bugging me for weeks. The thing that keeps tripping me up is that everyone assumes you already know the basics, and the wiki is out of date.

Low stakes question, but it has been bugging me for weeks. The thing that keeps tripping me up is that everyone assumes you already know the basics, and the wiki is out of date.

What actually changed my results was slowing down and reading the tooltips properly instead of rushing. Curious whether that matches what everyone else is seeing.

In my testing, it is almost always a setting rather than hardware, so try the free fixes before spending anything.

Worth checking first: do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

Adding to the above: the community guide covers this better than I can, but the summary is to prioritise the basics first.

Same boat here. the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain.

That fixed it for me, at least.

I went through this last month. that behaviour is intentional, even though it is poorly explained in-game.

Let us know which part worked.

For what it is worth, you get most of the benefit from the first adjustment; everything after that is marginal.

Worth a shot before anything drastic.

Counterpoint: do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

That fixed it for me, at least.

Quick correction to the above: check whether an overlay is running before blaming the game itself.

Slightly different take — ignore the loudest advice; the boring answer is usually the correct one here.

Only partly related, but the safe move is the reversible one — you can always undo it if it makes things worse.

Good luck, it is a common snag.

Depends on your setup, but broadly it depends heavily on your specific setup, so take any single number with a grain of salt.

Worth checking first: region and server load matter more than most guides acknowledge.

Worth a shot before anything drastic.

Counterpoint: the trick is to change one thing at a time and actually note the result before touching anything else.
