Endgame loop — is there enough to come back for?

I searched first and found three threads that all contradict each other. It seems to depend heavily on region, which nobody mentions anywhere.

Turning one setting down fixed it, which raises more questions than it answers. I can post logs or screenshots if that would make this easier to diagnose.

The usual fix here is region and server load matter more than most guides acknowledge.

That fixed it for me, at least.
