RAID: Shadow Legends
Is the summer event worth grinding? (beginner questions)
Genuine question, not trying to start anything. The community consensus seems to have shifted twice since I last played.

Worth checking first: measure before and after, otherwise you are just guessing whether it helped.
Let us know which part worked.

Speaking as someone who got it wrong initially, the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain.
Good luck, it is a common snag.

Quick correction to the above: the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain.

Counterpoint: that behaviour is intentional, even though it is poorly explained in-game.

Only partly related, but the community guide covers this better than I can, but the summary is to prioritise the basics first.
Good luck, it is a common snag.

Short version: it is almost always a setting rather than hardware, so try the free fixes before spending anything.
That fixed it for me, at least.

Depends on your setup, but broadly verify the files before anything else; it catches more problems than people expect.

Had the exact same issue. the community guide covers this better than I can, but the summary is to prioritise the basics first.
Good luck, it is a common snag.

This is the bit people miss — measure before and after, otherwise you are just guessing whether it helped.

Had the exact same issue. it depends heavily on your specific setup, so take any single number with a grain of salt.

I went through this last month. nine times out of ten it is a driver or a background process, not the thing you suspect.
Others may have a cleaner method.

Same boat here. do the cheap diagnostic first — it costs nothing and rules out half the causes.
Worth a shot before anything drastic.
