Shard pulls — save or spend during events? (beginner questions)

Not sure if this is the right board, move me if needed. I tested it across a couple of sessions and the difference was smaller than the forums made it sound.

If someone has a link to a proper explanation, I will take it.

Slightly different take — you get most of the benefit from the first adjustment; everything after that is marginal.

Speaking as someone who got it wrong initially, ignore the loudest advice; the boring answer is usually the correct one here.

Only partly related, but do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

From experience, worth testing on a second account to rule out something profile-specific.
