Anti-cheat blocking launch after a Windows update

Two of us tried the same thing and got different results, hence the thread. I compared notes with a friend and we got completely different outcomes on similar hardware.

I can post logs or screenshots if that would make this easier to diagnose.

Not the answer you want, but this changed for me after the last patch, so older threads may steer you wrong.
