Fortnite — Do you finish games any more, or just move on?
Curious how everyone else approaches this, because my way feels clumsy. It seems to depend heavily on region, which nobody mentions anywhere.

Speaking as someone who got it wrong initially, it depends heavily on your specific setup, so take any single number with a grain of salt.
Report back once you have tried it.

Not the answer you want, but measure before and after, otherwise you are just guessing whether it helped.

Depends on your setup, but broadly give it a clean reinstall before assuming the hardware is at fault.
Let us know which part worked.

The usual fix here is nine times out of ten it is a driver or a background process, not the thing you suspect.

Adding to the above: measure before and after, otherwise you are just guessing whether it helped.

Depends on your setup, but broadly the wiki number is theoretical; real results are always a bit lower.
Others may have a cleaner method.

This is the bit people miss — measure before and after, otherwise you are just guessing whether it helped.

Slightly different take — this changed for me after the last patch, so older threads may steer you wrong.

Short version: the community guide covers this better than I can, but the summary is to prioritise the basics first.
Report back once you have tried it.

Same boat here. the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.
