Audio mix seems off in cutscenes for anyone else? (veteran perspective)
Finally worked this out, so here is the write-up I wish I had found. I compared notes with a friend and we got completely different outcomes on similar hardware.

Short version: you get most of the benefit from the first adjustment; everything after that is marginal.

Worth checking first: the trick is to change one thing at a time and actually note the result before touching anything else.

I went through this last month. do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

In my testing, if it only happens in one mode, that narrows it down considerably.
