Neverness to Everness — Launcher stuck verifying files

Two of us tried the same thing and got different results, hence the thread. What actually changed my results was slowing down and reading the tooltips properly instead of rushing.

I tested it across a couple of sessions and the difference was smaller than the forums made it sound. Feel free to tell me I have missed something obvious.

Speaking as someone who got it wrong initially, worth testing on a second account to rule out something profile-specific.

Not the answer you want, but the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain.
