   Reposting with more detail after my last thread got no traction. The thing that keeps tripping me up is that everyone assumes you already know the basics, and the wiki is out of date.

   Once it clicked, it felt obvious, but getting there took far longer than it should have. I will report back once I have tested it properly.

   Had the exact same issue. the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain.

   Only partly related, but that behaviour is intentional, even though it is poorly explained in-game.

   Others may have a cleaner method.
