[Neverness to Everness] Bluetooth controller latency — worth it?

Not a complaint, just genuinely puzzled by the behaviour. I assumed it was a known issue, but I cannot find anyone else describing it.

Not a complaint, just genuinely puzzled by the behaviour. I assumed it was a known issue, but I cannot find anyone else describing it.

Half the advice online is a year out of date, which is why I wanted a current thread. Feel free to tell me I have missed something obvious.

Adding to the above: the difference is real but small enough that you may not notice it while playing.

Good luck, it is a common snag.

Adding to the above: that behaviour is intentional, even though it is poorly explained in-game.

In my testing, that behaviour is intentional, even though it is poorly explained in-game.

Counterpoint: temperature is the usual culprit when performance degrades over a session.

Only partly related, but verify the files before anything else; it catches more problems than people expect.

Short version: measure before and after, otherwise you are just guessing whether it helped.

Same boat here. it depends heavily on your specific setup, so take any single number with a grain of salt.

Had the exact same issue. the wiki number is theoretical; real results are always a bit lower.

I went through this last month. the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.

The usual fix here is temperature is the usual culprit when performance degrades over a session.

Report back once you have tried it.

Quick correction to the above: you get most of the benefit from the first adjustment; everything after that is marginal.
