   Two of us tried the same thing and got different results, hence the thread. The patch notes hinted at this but never actually spelled it out.

   It behaves as expected on one account and not on another, same device. Interested in the counter-argument if there is one.

   I went through this last month. the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain.

   In my testing, give it a clean reinstall before assuming the hardware is at fault.

   Worth a shot before anything drastic.

    This is the bit people miss — the trick is to change one thing at a time and actually note the result before touching anything else.

    Had the exact same issue. keep a note of what you changed, otherwise you cannot undo it cleanly later.

    Report back once you have tried it.
